Brother HL 1440 Stopped, won't Restart

	I'm using a Brother HL 1440 laser printer with my Quicksilver 733 running 10.3.2. If I leave my computer for a bit and come back and try to print, I am unable to do so. Looking at the print setup utility, I can see that the printer jobs have been stopped. Pressing start does not allow the documents to be printed. In order to regain the ability to print, I need to restart the computer. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are there any solutions? thanks for the help!
