Ever since I upgraded to 10.3.3 uControl seems to randomly forget the setting of "real" function keys. As a side note, 10.3.3 introduced a new "Use the F1-F12 keys for custom actions" option in Keyboard & Mouse preferences - but it too forgets the setting and reverts the function keys back to the factory settings (e.g., F3 for muting).

Anyone experienced the same?

uContol and the new Keyboard pref pane option for function keys don't get along well together. Your best bet is to turn it on first in the keyboard prefs and then in uControl. Make sure both are on or it will conflict.

We'll have a patch for this soon...

Cool thanks - it never occurred to me one can turn the other off ;-)

Hope to see the update to uControl soon - can't live without it on my PB...

me either and it won't install for me @ 10.3.3 as it's "not supported".

found this out after doing a fresh install this morning, then doing all the software updates before anything else.

I had really gotten used to that silly little 2nd enter key being a more useful (for me) ctrl key...
