Of course the big question is when will they be over? Aren't those Alumnum Alloy icons help up because of this damn thing?

Wow... I'm really unimpressed by those winners. Some of them I liked, but it seemed like there was a real lack of polish. I'm not even going to look at the losing entries. The ones that did look polished seemed like poor equivalants of existing mac themes.

Oh well, I guess I'm just spoiled.
DigitalRamen sucks.

That Opulence theme looks nice.

My problem with most of the themes is that you look at them and say "Oh, that's Windowblinds." I guess I just don't like the way a lot of them turn out.

But whatever, I haven't touched my PC in weeks and probably won't now that I have my new PB.

Power as in sucking dry every ounce of that dual 3 GHz Althon's processing power with that innane cork-screw animation used *all* over the skin.

Sadly, you're not far off.

I do like this one since it has the beginnings of a very *usable* design. Others make me want to stab my eyes out.

I should've entered, they had something like $15,000 in cash and prizes for the winners.

There is an existing thread about the opulence theme here if you havent seen it already:http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...hreadid=212423

The author said he is planning on porting his opulence and vektor theme to MacosX.

the category names are useless. minimalist? power user? maybe that "pc jargon has no effect on me!!!". but seriously the opus theme is the only one that fits well. the tooty fruity one scares me.
