4 times in the last week we've seen people out and about wearing pajama bottoms.

Thursday night as we got out of our movie (Before Sunset), we saw a guy in pajama bottoms and big fluffy slippers.

Is this just a California thing, a teenager thing, or some weird TV show trend that's just starting?

At least they are wearing clothes. Last thing we need is a lot of guys running around with speedos or worse on!

I know a mid-30s former manager of a CompUSA in Michigan, who used to come to the store in them occassionaly. He would also come in wearing nylon sports shorts, and when he wore Dockers, he usually had on a pair of spats (black & white shoes).
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

Is that why he is a former?

As others have mentioned, it's mostly a HS girl thing. It's not a recent trend, however, as they have been doing it for a long time.

No, he went to Home Depot, as a manager. Don't think he'll dress like that there.

My Wife wears pajamas all the time at home.
She has this really cute Hello Kitty pajama set
I mostly see younger women out at night at the grocery store shopping in their pajamas.

I'm just waiting until the day when people wear their nasty skid marked tighty wighties and a wife beater T-shirt... and say it's their right to do so.

I don't think you can walk around the outside of your house naked. Or in front of a big window and just stand there in all your naked glory. I think that violates some city ordinance where you live.

Shame on you, I wear juicy pants! And I'm just a princess, not a jappy one...rite?

And yea, Zubas, hoooo boy. That guy obviously has to catch up on his *I Love the 90s* watching. I believe that was the 1990 episode.

And to agree with the general population, it is a HS girl thing. Although in my HS, it was a senior class thing. We had "Pajama Thursdays," where most of the seniors would wear 'em. And why did we do it? Well, pjs are comfy, and by the time you were a senior, you were secure enough with yourself (aka everyone important already knew what you looked like at your best, and those who didn't were underclassmen and would respect you/stamp you with an "I'd do her" approval anyway) to not have to go through the trouble of getting dolled up for school in the morn. Especially since we had to take the train in to HS, pjs were a good choice. But we didn't just wear any old ripped and soiled ones, you had to have style. Yes, fashionable pjs. Old Navy kind were the most popular.
I guess we were all pretty corny with the pj thing, but it was just one of those clique things you did. You could tell what group someone was in by the pjs they wore on Thursday. Well, I enjoyed it, anyway. And at Cornell, I still do it. They guys don't, but lots of girls do. Especially in college, it's just too tempting to not have to do anything other than roll out of bed, brush your teeth, wash your face, and go to class. I even wore a pair of boxers to class one day. But it was Halloween, so it was acceptable. Won't ever do it again, I pwomise.

Oh, but slippers...that just sounds retarded. Well, except for on PJ Day...

Yea, I forgot. Pajama Thursdays were sparked by "PJ Day." We had PJ Day, 80's Day, lots-o-fun-stuff in my HS. What can I say, there were like 3200 kids. So yea, as far as my HS goes, blame it on PJ Day, for which I was a rebelious deviant and wore a Victoria's Secret slip. Ask Dan to scan the pic...

*End of conniption, and apology. I just got out of HS recently, still very fond memories.*

Haha. Well, like I said, I wore a Victoria's Secret slip dress to school on PJ Day. Dan has my only copy of the pic. He's stuck indoors recooperating from getting his tonsils and adenoids removed, so if he get bored and motivated enough, maybe he'll look for it. Do prod him...er, about the picture, that is.
