After the recent software updates (I can't remember if it was 10.3.5 or the Airport update) my wireless connection is very unstable at home. Once the connection is lost, I need to power cycle my Linksys router in order to reestablish it. The other 2 networks I use (both with D-Link routers) don't have the same problem. Any idea?

Linksys has had some crappy firmware in the past.
Go to dslreports.com and read the forums to find out which is the most universally favored firmware for whatever model router you have.

Solved all my linksys woes that way (I have a BEFSR41 v1 that worked flawlessly until about January of this year, until the released a firmware just recently that fixed it).
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

My connection at work will now not connect. Everyone else with a PC wifi card can connect.

I have done both the 10.3.5 and Airport upgrades, including adding Airport Express into the mix with my LinkSys WAP-G and LinkSys router and have not had any problems.

Not using anything but an open wireless connection since I live in the country. It has a hard time reaching past my front door, let along the road where someone could access it.
