I thought cubism was drawing one object, but from mutliple angles/sides in the same space? Like drawing a bunch of bottles, then turning then 90 and drawing them again (over the ones you just did).

Don't know his name, but it's definitely a boxer.

I would say its just Vector art.

Some things make it look like it is intending to be "pixelated" or pixel based, but a lot of parts break that rule.

lol at Bluesky

My first thought was vector too.. however, this seems like just a simple 2D animation made in a simple graphics app. Aren't vectors a fancy type of tracing from Photoshop?

My server is bIocking the site. Is the image you found this one?

If it is, its Brook Nunez at lifeinvector.com you can see more of her stuff there or here.

I hope this answered you question.

Vectors are mathematical curves or lines which define the shape of something when then has a fill and stroke usually. Although photoshop does handle vectors it converts the vectors into a bitmap which is just a bunch of pixels. Vectors can also be resized w/o loss of quality while photoshop images cannot.

It looks like that gif definitely uses vector graphics. I could not tell you what kind of artistic style it is however it does remind me of somatic...
