I've got a firewire external drive connected to my mac which Im using as a temporary server, connecting to it I have macs running OS X 10.3 and also OS 9.2.2.
The problem I have is that the OS X machines see, share and have access privileges but the OS9 machine is not being given the privileges to write back to it. I have looked at the privileges via the Get Info and allowed Read/Write for Group and Others but this isnt solving it. Can someone help and point me in the right direction... is it the particular Group that i have to pick? Currently its on Unknown but was on Staff.

hoping a friendly Guru can help

Hyte
...ill get my coat
