Hey all, I've been fiddling with Excel for the past half hour and was wondering if there was any way to save an Excel worksheet in JPEG format without having to save it as a PDF then converting, or taking a screen capture of just the window. I'm keeping stats for me and my friends and want to post the spreadsheet on a Xanga site but don't know how else to do it, so far I just saved in PDF via after clicking print. Then converted the PDF to JPEG via photoshop, but without the thin blue lines, anyway to get those lines or am I screwed to saving JPEG's with no lines? Thanks in advance for any help.

What "thin blue lines" are you talking about?

You do know Preview can export to JPEG, right?

You mean the gridlines? As a default, these do not print (either to paper, or to a PDF). You need to turn this feature on in Page Setup / Sheet / Print Gridlines.

I don't see how you can save a worksheet directly as a JPEG. I think you need to go through PDF.

You can save as a webpage, and that would convert graphs into JPEGs, but the text remains as HTML text.

Excel can't export to an image format without first being converted to a PDF. You can get rid of the gridlines if you want, but you're not getting a jpg striaght from excel.
