Unless the barrier is a 7 foot high and 4 foot thick wall of concrete I don't see how it'll stop, of course the pioneers of the sport will always have the best distance scores seeing how they didn't have to over come barriers.

They just have to develop a mobile ramp to avoid such a barrier. Should help with distance too.
