if you read my topic a month back my school was going to give me a 800mhz g3 ibook but there were delays and it arrived yesterday but i can get it after they get **** onto it on monday but because it was a month or so delay they sent me a 1.2ghz g4 32mb radeon 9200 gfx card and 256mb of ram
a good upgrade for waiting a month so i was wondering what games could i run on it

when i had my g3 800 ibook i used to play quake 3 on it. it did a good job of that.
a friend of mine has a g4 867 powerbook and he played through warcraft 3 and homeworld 2 recently.

my g4 1.25ghz powerbook plays world of warcraft full-widescreen resolution very nicely.

i think the best bet would be to download a bunch of demos and try them out, but i am sure your new g4 ibook will be good for current games, even if you have to drop the quality a tad. should be ok.

First off, you need more ram. But that's kind of a given.

Neverwinter Nights is the perfect laptop game. Played the whole thing through (including the two expansions and some online modules) on my G4 800 MHz iBook. It is a great waster of time.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

I've played the demo for NWN (as recomended above) and I loved it. I have to get a copy for christmas. Even though it's not a new game, I'd definitely recomend it based on what I've heard. It can also even be played with just your track pad if you're constrained somewhere where you can't really have a mouse... like in class
