Yeah, I just ordered it online with educational price in Hong Kong... It's like HK$202 (US$26) only.
I will share it with a friend. I will have the grey, pink and green.

It's interesting how a topic like "iPod socks!" gets more user feedback and attention than 95% of the posts that end up in the Peripherals forum...
On a side note, me and a freind decided to order one.
Only Apple could pull something like this off...

The order page original said it would be shipped on or before 6 Dec. Now it said it shipped on 23rd Nov. So I am expecting to receive it by the weekend.

my color scheme isn't being offered right now, but the one my former roommate chose for my ipod is a tan/blue corduroy.

Has anyone had them arrive yet?
I have not seen any unpacking photo shoots yet.
Post your photos of your iPod socks when they arrive.
I have two sets on order in the UK so that we (me and my partner) won't argue over the colours.
I have a delivery date of on or before 31st Dec 2004, which is a bit silly as I ordered them from the Xmas Gift section of the Apple Store, still they never said which Xmas!!

These were at the Apple Store on Black Friday; I picked up a set. The dark blue is actually purple, BTW.

due to customs yesterday at the airport i missed my connecting flight, so i got home too late to get my ipod socks from the apartment complex office.
i got them this morning.
they are so very cool. a lot smaller than i expected, which is good, since i thought they were going to be a bit thick. they do not add too much to the overall size of the ipod. if your ipod could fit in your pocket, it still will be able to.
the box is nice, apple style.
today i think i am going to use the green one.
and now for the photos:

They look cool! I ordered some too and the expected shipment date is on or before the end of today (it said that yesterday too so we'll see...)
Does anyone have them that has a mini that could show some pics? I'm going to get a mini later this month so I got the socks ahead of time to be ready for my baby's arrival!
That's funny that one of you mentioned a purple iPod mini because I was looking through my documentation that came with my new G4 iBook the other day and in one of the "user" shots, it shows a purple iPod mini sitting beside a Mac on a doc...I assume it's just a color correction issue, but I can't figure out which mini it would be. It just looks so purple! A purple mini would be cool...I'd probably still buy the pink one though.

I ordered my socks last Friday (1 week ago) here in the UK. I have just received an email from Apple stating they will be with me within 3 days.
So there you have: the socks are in the UK!
I just wish they were for me. Grr.
No more worrying about delivery dates being 31 Dec 04.

We are late adopters of the iPod craze in our household, hopefully taking first delivery of our iPod from Father Christmas in a few days time.
This looks like the ideal gift for the wife! They are pretty cute!
Does anyone know if Apple plans to open-source the iPod socks in the form of a knitting pattern (he hee)??

i spoke to a friend of mine a few days ago and she took the size measurements off apple's site, made them a little smaller, and then knitted her own.
i haven't seen the result yet.

That's a good idea! I just bought the iPod Nano Tubes (low cost per case, even though I only liked three outta five: blue, green, clear). But having someone knit my own iPod Nano Tube-Socks would have pretty cool. Post pics of the results if you get a chance.
