I'm trying to figure out what to make tonight for supper.
We had a very late breakfast/lunch/brunch so we're not very hungry. I could order a pizza, maybe...
Nah. Pizza doesn't seem very appetizing tonight...
AH HA!
I know what we'll have...
Marie Callendar's chicken pies.

I made the Marie Callanders chicken pot pies and homemade biscuits and I'm grilling up - what else - steak.
I eat beef just about every single day. Either a t-bone or a NY strip steak. That and a glass of wine and I'm good to go. Our family is watching movies tonight also.

When I saw that you were eating spaghetti and toast (it was ON the toast, right?) I knew you were in Australia!
When I was down there that was one thing I frequently saw on the breakfast menus in various places. I have relatives down in the Snowy Mountains area.
Slices of bread with salted mutton on them. And water.
Are you in jail? Or is that something that you are consciously eating? And, if so, is it good?
I'm having a cup of freshly ground and brewed chocolate macadamia nut coffee while doing paperwork (work).
Mmmmmmm

It's standard Norwegian breakfast. The salty mutton comes in the form of a salty sausage which is kind of like salami, if that helps ease your mind.
On topic: For lunch I had two slices of bread with brown cheese on them, which I had made right after breakfast.

I ran out of time and couldn't have breakfast this morning, so I had to just grab a can of soda on my way out. Normally, though, I have a scrambled egg on toast with peanut butter and a glass of orange juice or just water. I usually avoid cereal since milk has a bad habit of always spoiling within, oh, two days of my buying it. And yes I turned the fridge temperature down. I guess I don't drink it fast enough since I don't like milk very much.

I think Vonnegut wrote about this...
For me this morning,
leftover cider-brined pork chops and a couple fried eggs, topped with some leftover "bordelaise"

I just had four two-inch pancakes (cold - leftover from yesterday) and dipped them in real Vermont maple syrup.

That's what I hate about working at home...the proximity to a refrigerator chock full of goodies to snack on.

Four Pilsbury blueberry waffles (frozen->toasted) with butter and Mrs. Butterworth's maple syrup. A tall glass of water, a vitamin supplement. I ran four miles this morning.

I need to start thinking about making dinner here. It's 5:30 PM.
Hmmm...
Right now I'm trying to get my HP printer to work correctly (HP LaserJet) so I may be making a call to India.
Maybe I'll roast a yardbird. (Chicken to all you non-farmers.)

Columbia Valley is awesome, you're right.
So, is Chateau St. Michelle - all the Washington state wines are great.
But, I'm drinking Turning Leaf Reserve 2003 and it is GREAT. Try it!
It's the same price as the others also. It's a bit lighter and has more fruitiness to it. You can smell pears in it quite a bit. GREAT.
