im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it can get moved after

may want to look at this link, so you know what im talking about

http://www.warleagues.com/viewnews.asp?view=45

ive got a few friends on irc that are trying to port it to osx, having a few problems atm,

<void-> http://www.opensource.apple.com/darw...amily-214.4.5/
<void-> i could prolly hack it to do 500hz for all devices
<void-> theres a few places where it gets the bInterval
<void-> but nowhere so far i can find where it knows it's a mouse and then calls the code to access the bInterval
<void-> the code isn't that easy to follow either
<void-> best bet for testing atm would be to change all references to bInterval from the usb devices to 2 which is 500hz
<void-> recompile etc and try it out
<Predsr> how would i have to install it
<Predsr> like when its been changed and recompiled etc
<void-> not sure yet
<void-> i read a little about the coding tools but nothing conclusive yet
<void-> dunno about installing etc either
<void-> could be it compiles to a module and you just replace the old file

<ewdafa> i've looked at the iousbfamily thing already
<ewdafa> aint bothered compiling it
<Predsr> but like if void made the changes would you know how to istall it etc
<ewdafa> more than likely
<ewdafa> the code is a ****er to follow, most cpp code is. i've looked at it already and have been trying to track down the mouse specific stuff

<void-> tell him to search for *interval = bInterval or just bInterval
<void-> i tried to reverse trace it back like the code that does *interval = bInterval is in a function but i couldn't for the life of me trace back to the originating caller of that function

if anyone could help thatd be great, can also find us in #nd on quakenet irc
