So I got cocktail the other day because I was told it's a good program to have to keep things clean and running properly. There are a few questions I have...

First off what is the reason, and what do people use it for most?

Second after installing it, I have realized that it deletes from my safari like my recently gone to web pages so I have to retype the address almost everytime. A little annoying but I know it is deleting the caches but I wonder if I can have it delete them less often or something.

What other features are there that are good to use?

Thanks!

Have you looked at the program?

From either the one-time run panel or the pilot panel, you can set what runs... click options for more specific options. I have mine cleaning everything up but internet cookies every Sunday night.

Also use the Pilot panel to schedule when it runs and what runs.

After doing an Archive & Install from 10.3.9 to 10.4 my 12" PB was very sluggish, lot of beach balling etc. I downloaded and ran Cocktail on it, and everything's rosey now

Which functions in Cocktail did you run, or did you run all of them? I've been getting a lot of beachballing on my Powerbook for the last couple of days.

Bourbon and Coke, usually. And for drunkenness.

Oh, wait.
