has anyone tried runnin thease programs on the mini? I have the 1.4 Mini 512 SDrive. Obvioulsy Im gonna have to upgrade the ram hardrive to make it run alil snappier, but has anyone tried runnin it on theres? If so how did it run? thx

I don't think you will have installation issues, like with Motion, where it won't install on some machines.

The software should run though. I've run various versions of FCP on a G3/500 Pismo, a dual G4/450, a dual G4/800 and a dual G5/2GHz.

I'm just now in the middle of trying to upgrade my HD to 7200rpm and I will install FCP on my Mini if I get this drive working. I'll let you know.

With the stock 4200rpm drive, I think it would be exceedingly chunky.

I wonder if FCP 2 or 3 would run better than 4 or 4.5HD since the earlier software may match the slower Mini cpu a little better?
