First off, the OEM Panther from OWC installed just fine, no problems, and everything appears to be in working order. It was indeed a universal installer. It also updated my iApps to modern versions, all for $49.
I want to clone a copy of my OS for backup. In the past I've used CCC for such things but was wondering, does Panther's "Restore" option in Disk Utility do the same thing? Is there any advantage of one over the other?
