I dig Sonic backgrounds ... was a fan for a long time </STRONG>
I got it from Sega's Website. Just visit the Sonic Adventure 2: Battle minisite and download the wallpaper from there. I've got some others, but they are custom ones I made myself which I'm not passing out.

So does nobody here actually own a Flower Power or Blue Dalmation iMac? Come on... someone must have one!

Got my iMac G4 two days ago (Monday March 04). Before that I was using my wife's PowerBook 3400C (very old). I read all about how easy OS X is and the bundled apps, so borrowed my mother-in-law's DVC, played with iMovie for a little while, and posted the following. It's 3.8Mb, about 2'-42" long, with sound. Wicked fun!

I got the desk at Stacks and Stacks. I looked quite a bit for a desk this size as well... So far (I just got it today) it has worked really well.

Out of curiousity; was it the CDRW or Combo version?

If I'm not mistaken the ComboDrive (mid-price) allows you to watch DVD's. The CD-RW (low-price) doesn't. Write speeds for the CD-RW are a bit faster too.

I just measured... The monitor tilts to the right by 1/8". The noticeable tilt in the picture is probably due to my photography skills (or lack of).

are you stalking joe's iMac? couldn't help noticing it on your screen...

as for bud, here, have some more:

me and my brother were holed up in a hotel in LA, had a few hours to kill before a flight to NY. we got 2 of those boxes, stuck a plastic bag in the waste bin, emptied the ice machine into it and loaded the basin up. the beers quickly vanished, so we hit the hotel bar. good job we were checking out later that day anyway, as we got asked to leave

Nope. When it opens, it clears the keyboard by a mere inch!

I was afraid of that when setting it up, though...but no worries now!

Actually, i didn't pay dime. My dad's company gave those projectors out to every employee. If you were to buy one, they are about $3500 bucks. I can use it whenever, except when my dad goes out of town. Then he uses it.

ever notice how imac setups are always worlds cleaner than powermac setups? [not as customized in some cases]
