Its a fact, white hides this more, hence why i purchased my 4gb White nano

Same is true for black vs. white or silver autos. Black shows paint imperfections much more than lighter colored cars. That's why I didn't get a black nano as well.

I had a chance to see the Nano in person. Mesmerised is the correct word for what I felt. I have to get one. Then I compared the White and Black Models. Though black looked good but I think in real terms white is still my fav.

Who cares about scratches? you guys act like you are buying figurines for your desks. I personally hope my ipod gets all scratched to hell and shows that it's actually used and enjoyed vs. your constant handholding, and babying the damn thing. It's an mp3 player, stop whining.

I don't think you can fault those of us who would like to do our best to keep our iPods as pristine as possible.

ok so i've been using my white nano and i've had no problems with scratching yet. maybe it's just solely a black thing. of course, the back is a lil scratched up, but that's silver construction is obviously going to be scratched. who cares about hte back anyway? As long as the screen stays ok and the front doesnt get scratched, i'll be happy
