Hello,

I am looking at the moment for a software that helps you with personnal finances. I used to use Money on my windows computer and i have to keep that PC just to be able to update my financial info. So now, i decided that i want to have everything on my mac (sold my ipaq for a palm last week!).

I think quicken does a Mac version, but is it any good? is there other software to take into account?

Thanks all for your help
Jules

I have quicken 2004 and I've been pleased, I'll probably upgrade to the 06 flavor at somepoint. There's other cheaper alternatives but for me quicken does it all for a decent price.

There isn't a UK version of Quicken. Never has been, never will be.

Try iBank or Budget

There won't be a different version, but it, like Budget and iBank, will work with pounds sterling. Intuit crippled Quicken so that users were always working in dollars. It would be trivial to fix it, but I gave up asking them nearly a decade ago.

Scotland, huh? Great. You need to send me some McEwan's Scotch Ale. The Liquid Of The Gods.

Hello, sorry for this late reply but thanks a lot for your info.
I will try them out this week to see what comes out of it. asa long as i can use it in pounds it should be fine. i don't really need very advanced functionnalities.

which one do you recommand for a UK based person, iBank or Budget?
