At work I use my iBook or PowerBook to SSH into my B&W at home, running Panther Server 10.3.9. Is there a console tool for finding what other IPs are on my LAN? My G5 is connected, but I cannot remember the exact IP address. My router has a option to check what IPs are being leased through DHCP, but I'd like to know if there's a console tool to do so.
Any help appreciated!!

nmap 192.168.1.0/24
I tossed the IPaddr/mask in there as an example, substitue your own range. Nmap will come back for each address with a message of if the host is up or not.

Okay, so I've been using arp -a recently. BUT, I have an AE base station with 1 or more machines connected to that. What command can I use to get the IP addresses of those machines? Or will they show up too?

They should show up too. arp will tell you whether the machine is on en0 (ethernet) or en1 (wireless).

Strange: I was on my Pismo today (w/an airmac card) but it showed up as ethernet.
My AE base station is connected to my 10/100 switching hub, from the router. I suppose that's why?
Anyway it's not a big deal, but thanks for the help.
