I just got my video iPod and want to transfer my homemade videos to it...so I had to upgrade QuickTime to 7.0.3

...I had QuickTime Pro (for the past 3 years, at least) UNTIL I upgraded.

I put in my name and registration code, which I haven't had to do in the past, and it said "Invalid Registration". Although, the registry info I saved 3 years ago is a 20 digit code that says "keys" next to it instead of "registration code". (ie: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)

I'm not made of money, so please tell me, before I drop another $30 on QuickTime Pro (again)...am I really required to buy it for the second time??

Everytime there is a new version of QuickTime you need to rebuy the pro version.

Actually this is the first time you've had to repurchase QuickTime since they started charging.

Eh? If you had QT5 Pro you had to pay for QT6 Pro.

Hmmm. I don't remember that. My serial worked fine through the 5-6 transition, but that might be just faulty memory

Faulty memory. Every new major version required the purchase of a new license since they started charging for it.

I used to buy them but stopped. I just find it a rip off to spend that over and over. It should be included in the OS.
