Never had it. I'm addicted to Twizzlers! At the end of every string, there is a bit of crack cocaine. Which is why I'm addicted to Twizzlers!

Sorry, never heard of that product before. My concern would he the salt content.

Nothing wrong with lots of salt, as long as you drink enough water to pass out the excess. (And of course, if you have sodium-related hypertension, then you should keep it down.)

I remember the valedictorian speech at my goddaughter's college graduation. "If you have ever price-comparison shopped for ramen noodles, you may be a college student!" <rant about college student eating habits deleted because it got too squirly>

It sould be nice if you could find anything like ramen or other, similar packaged foods, that didn't contain MSG. I could handle the sodium if I didn't have to deal with MSG.

As a poor starving college student, I'll willingly admit that I'm hooked to Ramen. Its good stuff, and you can eat for about three or four days off a dollar if you really needed to. And the sodium content is only there if you add the flavor packet thingy (aka SALT packet). Without that, it's nothing but dehydrated noodles. Doesn't taste like much, but hey, no need to fear the salt content. I have a history of heart disease in my family, so I have to be careful about these things.

Any ramblings are entirely my own, and do not represent those of my employers, coworkers, friends, or species

When I was in Colorado for a year, instead of "Top Ramen" everything was "Smack Ramen." I just that that Smack Ramen sounded funny.

By the way, Top Ramen + Ranch = poor man's Fettucini.

and how does this relate to the state I currently live in? I have had ramen once in the last 4 years.... I should go out and get some, and make my own flavorings.

EDIT:

this is what i am addicted too, when i am at work (I work at a grocery store) I have at very least one a day, sometimes 3 or more...

"Poor college students" who live on nothing but instant ramen are morons. Get a job and learn how to cook. In 5 years of university I had Kraft Dinner probably 3 times at the most.

I think I can complete the conversation that this comment will provoke:

1: How about, get a job and get a kitchen in your dorm room, jerk.

2: Get a job and move off campus.

1: I had a job, and my college didn't allow living off-campus.

2: You obviously chose the wrong college then.

1: Oh yeah, because I choose colleges based on living off campus.

2: Well I choose a good college that also let you live off campus.

1: Well I got a scholarship to a college that didn't let you live off campus.

2: Your [sic] gay.

1: Reported. :-|

3: IBTL!
