I'm trying to relist something and everytime i "revise my listing" ebay and hit submit ebay just takes me back to the main page in safari. Seemed to work in firefox, except now it relisted the same item twice.

Seriously how %)(#*%#)( stupid is their software? That it lists the same item twice? And since they dont' offer techincal support worth anything, and you can't delete your auctions I now have the same item listed twice:

Yes, use Firefox.

Pretty sad that everyone that I know on a Mac uses Firefox and not Safari.

What's up, Apple?

I also use Opera. I love the ability to magnify things with ease. And now it's free with no banner ads - I paid $$$ for it a while back and now it's free.

But, it's nice and works great with eBay also.

I still prefer Firefox for everything, though, at least right now.

The whole thing is retarded, i can code a page that edits an auction and works in all browsers. If you code a page that doesn't work in one browser "in a standard web language" as does ebay and it breaks when refreshing your code is crap. Especially when failure causes it to double list an auction. If you were going to have it fail then just have it fail, tell me to use another browser i don't care, but just don't post twice. It's just lazy transaction followthrough by the database programmer

Admit it: This was really just an ad for your eBay auction, right?

(By the way: Saying they're "backup DVDs" isn't fooling anyone)

hehe, i really won't give the the DVDs unless they own it, however that said i'll just take who-ever's word, it's their responsibility, it's not going to do them any good without a real serial.

Actually, it's the apple key, shift, and + (or - if you want to make it smaller) I believe.

I actually use three browsers. I prefer Safari, but it "just doesn't work" for me on a lot of sites (can you say JavaScript) so I also use Camino and sometimes Firefox ...

Get with it Apple and make a browser that WORKS

Embarrassing, really

Safari's handling of bad (read: noncompliant) code is not yet up to that of Mozilla, and IE's really only capable of handling bad code. But overall, Safari renders quite well, and when it fails, 99 times out of 100, it's because the person who wrote the site was a lazy idiot.

I agree that many sites are poorly written but we go there for free (mostly) whereas we pay a significant amount for these machines that just don't handle it as well as a Microsoft product, which is just sad ...

Okay, so want to hear something really amazing?

I set up both Safari and Firefox with the same fonts (Verdana) and font sizes. I made them identical.

Guess what?

Firefox looks better - the colors in Firefox are deeper and richer.

I thought that I was imagining it and I called my husband in and had the pages up side-by-side and I said, "Which page looks better?"

He picked Firefox. Remember, fonts and font sizes were identical and he picked Firefox. The yellows and reds are much brighter and/or richer.

Someone else should try it and let me know what you think?

Hi Cody,

My wife had tried FireFox, but it didn't work all that well. So she is back to Safari.

Hi WDLove:

Well, I'm now using Opera which I think is my favorite browser. In the beginning it's like getting used to Polish notation, but it's great once you use it. I think it's better than all the others, to be honest.

You should try it. The interface is great and the graphics are awesome.

to Opera.

Of course, it's for intelligent people who want more options, not for morons who can only understand the most simple of browsers.

That hurt Cody.
