So finally my 3 1/2 years old Tibook is starting to paint flake. Are there guides for disasembling and repainting a Tibook? I don´t wanna do cosmetics using Tipaint or so, i plan to strip it and do a complete paint job. Any advice?

Locate the complete disassembly guide, strip all the metal parts down to bare using thinner, aircraft remover, etc. then prep and paint. Reassemble and it should look slick.
I'd do it in semi- or gloss black.

those look pretty nice, i've been looking for a metallic dark blue paint to do the same kind of treatment on mine. any suggestions on where to buy the paint? or tips on getting it looking that good?
note: i was also considering leaving some segments of the silver metallic cover as-is, so i cant prime the whole thing, and if i only prime part of it then some primer may show through on the unpainted sections... any suggestions?

Thanks for the input so far. As for the look, i want to retain the original paint scheme since then i have not to fiddle around with the screen (screen finish is perfect, also the titanium sheet metal, only the carbon fiber bezel flakes due to the copper primer). Is there a new download source for the repair manuals? I checked for the site hosted by a dutch server farm (wanadoo.nl) but download was disabled a few months ago..
