So it appears as if the video game series Silent Hill has become a movie. Seeing how almost every video game turned movie has been horrible, what video games would you love to see as movies?

1) Bionic Commando. (Superjoe needs saving)
2) Bad Dudes. (Are you a bad enough dude to save the President?)
3) Stubs the Zombie. (Any movie where a zombie is the hero is cool in my book)
4) Monkey Ball. (No reason needed at all)
5) Chu Chu Rockets. (Because every mouse needs a spaceship)

I thought of that after I posted. Good call.

Not enough Pizza Hut plugs, though.

So according to the stories floating around, some time ago Peter Jackson was approached with two possible video-game movie ideas, but was told he could do only one of them. One of these ideas, as we all know, was Halo. The other was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Jackson, it seems, chose Halo.

Why, God; WHY?

Zelda would be a much better movie...

I mean, HALO would just be a CGI frag fest for two hours and I mean we all know how Peter Jackson would never do something like that....

oh wait... I guess I did see King Kong.

A feature-length Warcraft animated film could be fun.

A Warcraft or Everquest movie would be nice. There's enough lore in them for a good film.

Parasite Eve, if it were done well. It's a shame that Bloodrayne tanked.

I'm itching to see what the new Dead or Alive movie is going to look like.

It could be a trilogy that does something like this:

Episode I: an hour and a half getting to the evil bad guy with little difficulty and a half an hour defeating him.

Episode II: the heros from episode I travel to distant lands to get cool armor and weapons to show off in Ironforge.

Episode III: See episode II

Even though it wasn't live action, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was superb. I'd consider that the first real VG movie that didn't suck.

Add another vote for Dig Dug. I loved that game when i was 5.

Goldeneye

oh, wait...

For Warcraft, I was thinking more of a trilogy based on the the first 3 games. A WoW movie would suck,

"We have to go back and kill Rivendare again, I need to get my Wildheart kilt."

Why was it again that the bad guy needed a satellite dish the size of a lake to send a message to a satellite in earth orbit?

No way. I've been wishing for a Zelda movie forever. That sucks. And I'd much rather see a Marathon movie than a Halo movie, anyway. Oh well. I'll trust Peter Jackson to make something entertaining.

Star wars is a joke, it all sucks except for the Art Direction, did you think I thought otherwise?

Star Wars is also total Sci-fi. Bond is not.

I love Bond movies, I have all of them on DVD. At first I liked Golden Eye but that whole dish part and the end was so stupid I didn't believe anything that was going on.

Star Wars is fantasy, actually.

Well, it'd be consistent with the beginning, since Severnaya had a giant dish too. And I can't believe I'm doing this.

Fine, double stupid.

Dish(s) aside I found the story rather unintelligent next to some of the bond movies.

That was Tomorrow Never Dies, I think. The World Is Not Enough is the one with the villain who has a bullet stuck in his head and where they seriously have Denise Richards playing a rocket scientist.
