Your 512MB PC2700 SO-DIMM price is higher than even Crucial charges, and nearly twice the bargain-basement price.

No, just the power adapter and standard head. I guess I can throw in the grounded extension cord for $10 more. (I just dropped the power adapter prices by $5 a piece)

Would you take $60 shipped for Tiger? I can Pay Pal...

OR

Would you trade it for an Aiptek 3100 video camera w/ 512 meg CF card? It's Mac compatible.

irnbrumike, I'm still pondering whether I want the Aiptek camera or now... It's actually tempting because I was thinking about getting something similar. What format does it record? Mpeg4?

Warren, my pleasure.

Butch, $17 shipped sound ok?

I wouldn't look at this as so much of a camcorder, but a decent portable web cam. It only does 10fps, too. What's great is it's SO SMALL and light, you can just sort of always have it on you. I believe the format it saves is AVI..... I can double check on that. You can easily open the movies in Quicktime or import into iMovie.

I just don't want you to think this is a "real", DVD quality video camera.

As a still cam, it does 3.1megpixel pics.

I've really enjoyed owning it, I just have a new cam now and an iSight.

The only "issue" I see with it is, when you plug it in, iPhoto tries to launch to import--but it's not officially supported. So,you just quit iPhoto, and then the camera appears on your desktop like a portable pen drive. You just copy the photos onto your desktop and then delete them off the camera.

Here's more info on it:
Measuring only 3.3" x 2.7" x 1.7" the new Pocket DV3100 captures your life's moments in the palm of your hand. Featuring a 4 in 1 design, the DV3100 functions as a Digital Video Recorder, Digital Voice Recorder, a High Resolution 3.1 mega-pixel Digital Camera, or even hook it to your PC to be used as a webcam! It offers a 1.5" Color TFT LCD Display, and if the 16 MB of built in memory isn't enough, you can add up to a 512 MB CF card. Upload images and video to your PC via the USB cable. You can even playback video on your TV or VCR.

How about the cam, the card, and $10?

I just discovered that the low budget charger I bought for my son's Shuffle will also charge other iPods, so it looks as though I won't need one now. Sorry, but thanks for the quick response.

Butch, just be careful... I've seen 3rd party chargers fry iPods before.

irnbrumike, I already have a miniDV camcorder for regular video. This would just be for funny short videos for the web... but the only thing that I have reservations about is the 10fps. I read somewhere that there's a 24fps mode. Is that the case at all?

bad logic board. $150 for it complete? LCD alone is worth over $100 on ebay. hard drive, optical drive, etc... would get you well above that.
