Mother's day is tomorrow, but our dear company suggests that we should skip that and head over to the Apple store and get an iPod for Junior and another one for daddy.
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...ts/AppleStore/
The only Mother's day present that's being advertised on internet banners is the pink RAZR.
This whole Dads and Grads season sickens me.

"Mom" doesn't rhyme with "grad."

Yeah. We have mandatory registration for every adult male in the country -- and meanwhile women get paid less for doing the same jobs -- and you're upset about how Apple didn't make a Mother's Day ad? If this were anywhere near the worst example of sexism around, we'd be in awesome shape.

If there aren't any mothers day ads for gadgets then that means there's no demand for mother's day gadget gifts.

I suspect a lot of moms would like an iPod. Women like music too.

I've seen a few studies. I didn't have any of them handy, but I Googled a couple that were similar to the numbers I've seen for your perusal. The most optimistic number I've seen, from the Independent Women Forum, says that women get 2% less than men — and that's taking into account factors other than salary to make up the difference.

What exactly is sexist about this ad? Is it just because the engraving mentions a father and son instead of a mother and daugher? I would be more inclined to agree with you if the engraving said, "Hey toots, keep wearing those skirts to the office".
That is sexist.

What is the jist of my blog debate topic? Men are stronger, faster and more logical than females: significantly so.

I am not spamming. I have been a member on this board for about 2 years. The only reason I referred to my site is because it is related to this post. The debate topic on my blog was created in December of 2005. I have no spam intentions at all neither do I have the motivation of making any money from my link. Take it easy Kev.

That Apple should have released a pink Nano in March and sell 4 millions before Mother's Day.
Either that or a French Manicure Nano.

That is maybe the stupidest effing thing I've ever heard. Do you live in 1920?? You deserve a serious ass-whooping, preferably from a woman.

There's Father's Day and...??? No other day to recognize dad. Mom's get the most love.
Chris Rock Bigger And Blacker Script - Dialogue Transcript
Women need food, water, and compliments.
That's right. And an occasional pair of shoes.
That's right. Women got to hear it all the time, or they lose their minds.
And get Daddy to make sure you thank your mama for everything.
''Tell your mama how good the food is. Tell her how nice the house looks.
''Tell your mama how nice her hair looks. ''Did you tell your mama? You better go in there and tell your mama.'' That's right! ''Tell your mama.''
Nobody ever tells Daddy ****.
l'm talking about the real daddies that handle their ****ing business.
Nobody ever says, ''Hey, Daddy, thanks for knocking out this rent.''
''Hey, Daddy, l sure love this hot water.''
''Hey, Daddy, this is easy to read with all this light.''
Nobody gives a **** about Daddy.
l'm talking about a daddy that handles his business. Nobody gives a **** about Daddy.
Think about everything that the real daddy does: pay the bills, buy the food, put a ****ing roof over your head. Everything you could ever ask for.
Make your world a better, safer place. And what does Daddy get for all his work?
The big piece of chicken. That's all Daddy gets...is the big piece of chicken.
That's right. And some women don't want to give up the big piece of chicken.
''Who the **** is you...''to keep the big piece of chicken?
''How dare you keep the big piece of chicken!''
A man can't work 8 hours and come home to a wing.
When l was a kid, my mama would lose her mind...
if one of us ate the big piece of chicken by accident.
''What the ****! You ate the big piece of chicken?
''Oh, Lord! No, no.
''Now l got to take some chicken and sew it up and ****.
''Get me two wings and a pork chop. Daddy'll never know the difference.''
Just can't do it. Can't do it.
