If you had to purchase one or the other right now, which one would you choose? I need something that can handle multiple applications open at the same time and I feel as if Intel Duo iMac will be comparable if not slightly faster then the Power Mac G5 2.0Ghz Duo Core once most apps go universal binary.

How bad does Photoshop run on the new iMac Intel Duo? This is my biggest concern. I know it's twice as slow compared to Power Mac G5 Duo running on Rosetta but is it significantly noticeable in case, unbearable to work with?

I would reccomend a PowerMac if you need PS now, if not, wait till CS3 to load PS onto an Intel iMac. However, you may just want to wait till Conroe comes.
