Does anyone know where the location of the file is for the dock triangle icon is ? YES I GOOGLED IT.

I bet it's probably just a drawn triangle.
But I'd love if it could be made different.
You can change the color and transparency of it though. I have mine turned off. (Fully transparent)

Jasco, what do you use to mod the triangle? I had a look on your site but couldnt see anything.

Yeah, I can only remove it. I haven't seen anything to let it be reshaped though. Which makes me think it might just be a simple direct screen polygon drawing rather than an actual image.

you can use transparentdock or cleardock to mod it. search for them at macupdate.com
but i need to change its image. i need to change it from a triangle to a square. none of the apps will let you do this.

well if its possible to "draw the trianle" then its possible to make it draw a squaare

Not without having access to the code of the Dock. Which you don't. It's not as simple as flipping a switch.
