Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience buying refurbished powerbook from ExperCom? Specifically I'm looking at a 12" powerbook: 1ghz/256/super/40gig for $799. I can replace the 256 for a 512 on my own right?
I'm not sure, but I figure it's more secure than getting a used one from craigslist.

If you have a somewhat larger budget, I'd go with the 12" refurbed PowerBook from Apple. They are the newest models and only a couple hundred more then the $799 price point.
