I've noticed that the Most Played playlist on my iPod is not the same as my Most Played playlist on iTunes.
Does anyone know why?

Have you not updated your iPod in a while?

well, just a hunch here, but wouldn't the iPod's most played playlist be for the iPod? While the iTunes most played is just for iTunes?

Well, iTunes doesn't distinguish between what is played on iTunes and what is played on the iPod per se, but if you only had a subset of your iTunes music on your iPod, that could explain it. Or, as imitchellg5 pointed out, if you hadn't updated in a while they might be different.

If you mean software, then whenever Software Updater opens, I update. If you mean do I update the iPod on my computer, then the answer is yes, everyday.

Maybe, but I don't really listen to some of the songs in the iPod Most Played that much anymore. They're old "most playeds" I think.
Weird.

If you have your iPod set to manually update it doesn't sync your play counts to iTunes.
