It seems like Core Dup Temp is mistaken, or my MacBook Pro is just stuck. it lists the "Mini" amd "Maxi" Processor reads correctly at 1 ghz and 1.83 ghz, respectively, but the "current" is almost always at 1.5, even when no programs are open and proccessor usage is below 1%... It does spike to 1.83 if I'm doing something reasonably intensive (in iMovie or Photoshop, for example).

Does this seems normal? It seems like this should be adversally affecting battery life if not in spec. Of course it could just be that the software isn't reading it correctly, I'm using v.91 of CoreDuoTemo and 10.4.7.

btw, in Windows my system control panel usually lists the proccessor at 1 Ghz if I'm not using it much when I view the panel.

Any Thoughts or similar experiences?

Yes it's normal. If you want to read a bunch of idiots arguing over this, check out this thread.
