does any one know what rom revision $77d.44f4 mean? I have an imac version b with 233 mhz running os 8.5.1 currently. When I download the 8.6 that I got from www.apple.com my key board and mouse doesn't work after I reboot my puter after the download. So, I have to re install os 8.5 again then update to 8.5.1 to make my keyboard and mouse work again. any suggestions or answers are greatly appreciated.

That is odd, because i have beeen running 8.6 on my Rev B iMac for wuite a while with no problem. your best bet is probably to NOT reinstall 8.5, but instead boot up off the iMac CD and make sure that your keyboard and mouse are enabled.
