everytime i burn an mp3 cd each song is in a separate folder. i'd like just one folder or no folders with all the mp3s, is that possible?

Sounds like you're ripping individual tracks and not full discs, so try this for future ripping: go to Preferences>Advanced>General and uncheck "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized". That's the setting that creates Artist, etc folder organization in the ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music library.

You'll probably have to deal with your previously ripped tunes by digging through the iTunes Library subfolders in the Finder and moving them manually.

okay figured it out, i just burned a data cd and it plays fine in my car cd/mp3 player. I do rip as full albums but use this for burning mix cds, why have 100 tracks in 100 folders.
