Well, I followed someones advice and trashed the finder preferences and the problems I have been having with the finder seemed to have gone away. That is until a couple of startups later. It seems that the problem keeps resurfacing. I am going to try a clean install and give it one more try before I trash OS9. Should I really have to be going through all this with an Apple product? I am about ready to sell my G4 and be done with it. I have been having way too many headaches with a system that is supposed to be the most user friendly.
