I'm going to England for a month, and I want to be able to charge my ipod. Do I need to buy the whole travel adaptor kit that apple offers, or can I just get a cheapo AC adaptor at radioshack and plug the cord into there? (I already have the USB plug)

The little cornerpiece (a.k.a. "duckhead") comes off the power supply.

You can get a cheap electric-shaver power cord at a hardware store and plug that in there.
