I am trying to either find or write an Apple Script that will allow me to connect to the internet at a specific time, launch YA-NW and start my queued downloads. Any idea where I can find something like this?

write short scripts to do the tasks
maybe in I'll have some time in the weekend to look for it, but i don't think so.
