Apple iPod Commercials inspired by the James Bond movie Dr. No?

I recently purchased the new James Bond DVD sets and sat down to watch Dr. No (1962) this past weekend. I was amazed at how similar a portion of the opening credits is to the current line of iPod/iTunes Commercials.

I've taken screen shots of both and posted them next to each other... What do you think?

I think the concept is simple enough that was most likely conceived independently of the film.

i think its basically the reverse of their original ipod ad where the original had bright backgrounds and black silhouettes...the new ads have a black background and bright silhouettes.
