Every time I start up my computer, the opertaing system suddenly gives me the message "You need to restart your computer." in a few different languages. It doesn't tell me why or anything, just crashes. This happens at various times; sometimes the OS will boot fine and work for a few minutes, other times it will crash seconds into the boot process.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have some faulty memory. I would suggest taking out one stick at a time to try to isolate the issue.

I agree with bradbissel - bad RAM is likely the culprit there. Btw, what you're experiencing is referred to as a Kernel Panic.

Thanks a bunch, I'll try that. I just hope I can find an allen key the size of those holes...

The black screen of death. Hardware issue is likely.

Your Mac has turned to the dark side. Perhaps you just added something and an exorcism is needed along with a firmer push to seat it? If you didn't just add something then perhaps it would be better for you to bring your Mac to a priest because some deamons will not come out without prayer and fasting.
