I need an Applescript to backup my Home folder onto a backup folder on my external hard-drive. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mason

You'd be better off using a dedicated piece of software for that. But, if you need to use AppleScript, try calling rsync in a "do shell script" statement.

Yes, but the replies I got the first time were for Terminal. I'm looking for an AppleScript.

AppleScript and terminal (or rather more accurately shell commands) play well with each other. You can invoke shell commands from AppleScript and AppleScript Commands from the shell.
You mentioned in your private message that you would like incremental back-up. Perhaps you might want to read-up on Rsync - and the Mac OS X GUI apps that use RSync.

Wow. Déjà vu.
Read the man pages, too.

Thanks for the "x-man-page://rsync" link. I still am completely unaware on how to make the command.
