I am interested in purchasing the full body InvisibleSHIELD for my MacBook Pro and would like to know a few things from people who have used it.

Does it leave a residue when someday you want to peel it off (most worried about this as I know there is an adhesive on the material)?
Does it allow proper ventilation for the computer?
Is it as "invisible" as they say it is?
What is your overall opinion of the product? Worth the purchase?

Thanks.

No.
Yes.
Sort of...it's clear but shiny.
I like it on my MacBook. I never used it on my Aluminum Powerbook.

It isn't completely invisible. It has a SLIGHT orange peel texture that can be seen if the light hits it a certain way but other than that, it's pretty clear. I ordered an invisibleSHIELD to cover the LCD screen of my digi cam b/c it gets such great reviews.

i suggest bestskinsever.com much cheaper than invisibleshield. i had one for my macbook. it was nicely made and relatively inexpensive.

you don't have to worry about accidental spills/splashes.

proper ventilation is not a concern.

i would NOT recommend applepeelz. it took me roughly 3 weeks to get some of the pieces, but never got all the pieces after about 4-5 weeks. i finally tracked down their phone number via paypal records, and bugged them. To their credit, they did give me a full refund.
