Hey New Yorkers (or those in the know):

My wife and I are planning another NY trip (to go see Les Paul at Iridium), and we're wanting to nail-down a place to have a decent breakfast/brunch on a Sunday, probably around 9:00 to 10:00am. We'd prefer a "nice" place -- but nothing fancy-pants -- and it would need to be some place that takes reservations.

SO... my wife has kind of narrowed it down to 2 places: Norma's (at the Le Parker Meridian Hotel), and The Eatery.

Norma's seems to be popular, but it gets bad reviews as far as service and the people that work there. The Eatery looks cool, but not too many people has "reviewed" it that we can find, so we don't know.

What do you think? Opinions? Other ideas?

TIA,
Maury

That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it. Yeah. Before he let's loose the marmosets on us."
