GO GIANTS!

Starhan was hilarious in the post-game press conference:

Loosely quoted
"TO better his popcorn ready so he and Crayton can watch us next week in his home theater"

HAHAHA

As a Giants fan, I know we're playing out of our minds so I'm happy. Do I think we can beat Green Bay? We beat the #1 seed, so why not? We did what Green Bay could not do earlier in the season!

LOL, minor detail that the Packers already beat the Giants this season.

And this time, it's at Lambeau. You'll need a lot of luck...

Dallas swept us in our 2 regular season games...

Concerning the Green Bay loss, you would be 100% correct if it was the last five games of the season. I think most people would agree the Giants are a completely different team since we went 0 - 2 to start the season. We won 6 straight after that.

Regardless, you're still right. Favre and the weather are 2 things the Giants will be very difficult to overcome. I actually don't despise Green Bay and would root for them to smack down whoever winds the AFC.

Just picture it...

The Pack face the Chargers in the Super Bowl, and Brett throws for 400yds, 5TDs, and gets the MVP. Then, while accepting the trophy, he announces his retirement and leaves the game as a god.

Ok... if he did that well he probably couldn't quit, but it's a good daydream.

I think it'd be nice to see the Chargers win. An original AFL team getting its first SB victory would be a good story. But then I think of the way they treated Marty...

I know, but the espn folks are going to have a field day. From what I've heard he spent the days prior to the weekend studying film and his work was supposedly completed. I can see the value of taking some time off and keeping loose. I also don't think romo lost the game for the cowboys (he didn't win it for them also).

I can't stand the cowboys, and their arrogance, so it was enjoyable to see them be taken down a notch - even if it was from the lowly giant.s

+1. I agree 100%. Not to mention most of their fan's arrogance.

I was glad to see the Cowboys lose, if only because I think Favre will dismantle Eli with ease.

Ok, time to see if the upstarts can play the masters.

NE: 42
SD: 24

I can hope for a SD win, but as the old saying goes, "sh*t in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up first". Chargers just look too battered to win this, and the Pats smell blood.

GB: 38
NY: 21

The Packers, and Favre specifically, are going to pick the Giants apart. I can't see how the NY secondary can compete here. On the other side of the ball, GB doesn't have this problem.

Neither contest will be very close, many will be looking for other forms of entertainment during the second half of these games.

Still, with Rivers not in 100% shape, and LD out, they're holding up very well.

Not that well enough so far. They can't convert third downs into anything. Getting field goals isn't going to win this game. They need to get some real points on the board.

Yeah, they can't settle for field goals anymore. They'll need to go for 4th & goal.

IDK, the Seahawks have the exact same problem. The team just falls apart after 3rd and Goal.

That's why I'm glad the Packers have Brett. He doesn't choke in the red zone.

Well, the Chargers had their fair chance.

I'm not afraid of the Pats though, they did play agood game, but the Packers will have a chance to beat them.

This is a good game. I'm hoping the Giants come out ahead, but I'll be happy as long as the Pats don't win the whole thing.

To do that, he needs to throw the ball to the gentlemen in the green and yellow jerseys, though.
