Just kidding, I've never been arrested for indecent exposure. Truthfully, I'm like Dork., the worst I've done is j-walking... However, I've always thought that if I were to be arrested for something, indecent exposure would be the way to go. It would be nice to be so utterly unashamed of my body that I want to share it with everybody.

Since we're on the speeding thing, my freshman year of college I spent my first cross-state trip to visit my girlfriend trying to find the top speed of my newly acquired Scirocco.

The answer is the limiter kicks in at 118, I believe. I logged a lot of time above 90 and even 100 mph

Mine's boring...
...predictably

Reckless operation of a vehicle is my only "offense" that stuck besides multiple speeding tickets and such. My car has been searched several times. I'm not really sure why...

Stuff I wasn't caught for:

1. Theft of public property (road signs, etc.)
2. Music-related "stuff."
3. Calling in a fake bomb threat to AT&T (I was 12; thus began my bad relationship with the company).
4. Chased by cops multiple times for riding my dirtbike on private property.
5. [EDIT] Drunk driving. I did it one time (16-years-old), nearly killed myself and a friend, and decided I'd never put myself and others in harm's way in that manner again.

That's...it. Not even ONE single occurrence of illegal modification of a firearm!

And you'll be listed in the sexual predator database just to prove your lack of shame.

That's a quality submission. How you consider that boring is beyond me. The rest of your friends were actually bombing AT&T?

I didn't turn out to be nearly as big of a deal as it could've been.

After a looong conversation with my parents, they said they wouldn't press charges. I was an awkward, nervous little kid anyways; this only made me 10x more nervous and awkward for the next month.

You're dead on Dakar.

But we would all enjoy hearing about any jail/prison time experiences.

I have to say I'm sensitive about it. I spent most of my life with a security clearance that could have been pulled at any time due to either "misconduct" or criminal accusations, and since my job depended on keeping that clearance, I not only was very circumspect in my behavior, I have also developed a little bit of paranoia at discussing anything that could affect a clearance. Not that I ever had access to anything—the clearance itself was a requirement for the job. And not that I have to worry about it now. I'm just overly sensitive to this sort of thing.

And I really did post everything I ever did concerning "criminal activity." Pretty boring, eh?

I left out my driving without insurance for a few months.
Most of us haven't done anything worth listing, though.

Just silly stories as far as I'm concerned. Statute of limitations helps. I'll see if I can come up with a list of the more amusing events. The one about the hippies and the paintball gun is good for a chuckle.

Right off the bat he asked what I was doing..."BESIDES DRIVING LIKE A MANIAC!" That's the only reason I brought it up. As I was signing the ticket for 36 in a 35 he asked me if what I had said was true, and I assured him it was.

Also, we waited a half hour for an officer with the tint tester to arrive only for the original officer to discover that none of my windows would roll down so they couldn't be tested. It was a convenient time to have taken out my driver's window switch to fix the light.

In the spirit of being totally honest, I had forgotten to mention a ticket I got in 1996. "Failure to stop for a stop sign." The sign was there but covered by a tree. I went back and took pictures of the sign and fought the ticket. It was dismissed.

Seriously, I could SEE the police car parked on the intersecting street. Did he think I was that stupid? Or was it that it was Thanksgiving Day and he had PMS about working? Whatever, the city judge agreed with me and dismissed the ticket on looking at the pictures.

I dated a 15 year old when I was 18, and a 16 year old when I was 19. I took the 15 year old to Wisconsin without her telling anyone.

I also used to have a Traci Lords movie.

This all seems remarkably tame to me, but is technically statutory rape, kidnapping, and possession of child pornography.

The only thing I've been caught* for was speeding (camera trap - never saw a cop - 5km over the limit).

Yup, Mr Straight and Narrow. That's me.

Hasn't been an issue since my 20th birthday, which was almost 20 years ago.

Honestly, I consider myself blessed to be attracted to age-appropriate women, even when it comes to pornography. I'm sure there are other men like me, but I haven't really met one yet.

I actually hadn't thought about the Traci Lords tape for awhile. Though that got lent out and never returned long ago, I have no doubt that I would have pitched it by now. When I got the tape, I was only 3 years older than Traci was when she did the movie.

At this age I'd be pretty ooked out by it.

Being Danish, this is quite tame - nobody would flicker an eyelid over it here, not even taking her on a trip to Wisconsin (just as long a she's got an passport).

When I was 17 I was able to buy alcohol at this one particular BP. One night I bought some beer for my friends and I got about 4 to 5 miles away from the gas station and these undercover cops who had been staking out the BP pulled me over in a dodge truck with lights in the grill. They came up to the window and asked me for my license and then proceeded to ask me why I had all that beer in my truck. Long story short... they tried to play good cop bad cop with my on the side of a busy road... the "head" guy got a call and he said I could either go to jail or go back to the BP and buy beer again and I.D. the exact guy who I bought the beer from. Of course I didn't go to jail... poor guy.

At 16 I was with a guy who was 18 (the legal age for alcohol then) who didn't look it. We went to a liquor store and he tried to buy some beer. The guy behind the counter asked ME if I was buying the beer for my underage friend. WTF? "No sir!" My friend whipped out his drivers license and showed that he was a few months past his birthday and the clerk grudgingly sold him the beer.

I guess I could have bought it myself then... I had a pretty solid mustache at the time, and I guess I looked 19 or 20 then... But there were so many parties that I went to that had all the beer and booze I could want to sample that I just didn't bother. So aside from the possible infraction of attending a party (at someone's home) where alcohol was available to minors, I guess I got a pass on that.

Queen's Pantry.

Literally right across the Chicago border on the Evanston side of Howard street.

They had a nice little scam going, if you looked underage they'd tack on $2 per item. We quickly abandoned six-packs for Night Train.

Which as everyone should know, is a mean wine.

Stupidly, when I was 13 I carried an air rifle into town to show it to a friend who was thinking of buying it. Being a stoner and complete nut, he took the rifle, walked in a convenience store, and, waving the gun at them, shouted: "This is a stick up. Give me all your money... Nah, just kidding." We were still standing outside the store when the cops pulled up. The shop keeper was not amused.

The cops took the gun, which I would never see again, and let us go with a warning.

Really no reason to bring that mess up again. If you remember, it was kind of a touchy and rather divisive topic at the time. Let sleeping dogs lie and all that.

Oh yeah - one Christmas Eve in the local beach carpark when I was sixteen - had a few cones and a few beers and decided to relieve ourselves in the undercover carpark across the road. Jumped on the hood of my mates unregistered car while he drove us across. Was having a slash when we've suddenly got a spotlight on us. "Come here, you lot" says the cop. "Ah, just a sec" says I, finishing my business.

Cops go over the car and find the booze, the bong, the pot... Then the cop says:

"Look, I've got you guys for urinating in a public place, dangerous driving, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a licence, underaged drinking, drinking in a public place, marijuana possession, possession of illegal drug paraphenalia... I could go on. It's Christmas Eve, I've got a wife and kids at home and I'm out here looking out for scumbags like you. Now get the **** out of my sight."

"YES SIR, and Merry Christmas!" I say and we got the **** out of his sight.

Heh, me and "home" had parted company long before I turned 16, which was why I was hanging around with my scabby mates at the beach on Christmas Eve. I pretty much lived there at the time.

caught for: speeding, parking.

not caught for: let's just say it involved paint and public property.
