I've got a Quicksilver G4 running OS 9.2.1. I just added a new hard drive to the computer, so I was going to move the OEM IBM hard drive to a VST Ultratek IDE PCI card I've got installed in the computer. When I did so and rebooted, the OEM drive attached to the PCI card did not mount. I tried to mount it with Drive setup and SCSI probe but could not. Any ideas why the drive would not mount when attached to the PCI card. FWIW, it mounted fine when re-attached to the on board IDE chip.
Any ideas about what is going on or how I can get my drive to mount?
