I ve just had my macbook air replaced as it repeatedly kept shutting down and the genius confirmed that it was not right

I ve now got a brand new macbook air and there is a really annoying hissing noise coming from the machine

Its not the fans but a noise coming from near the bottom of the keybaord

The machine is fully up to date with software updates and I cant understand what it could be

I m really disappointed.

Ideas?

I remember on the macbooks they used to have different revision numbers which allowed you to see whether it was the latest hardware or not (Are all macbooks Airs exactly the same)?

Do Apple even announce when they make small changes to the hardware which does not impact the running of this?
