2.33GHz (2nd rev. MacBook Pro, before Santa Rosa)
-- I'm fairly sure it's the higher speed drive was what I got: 120GB? 160GB? Can't remember...
Who's the OEM supplier; WD, Samsung, or...? Gotta replace this -- clicked to death this morning.
Thanks.

I have that machine. It shipped with 120 GB, I believe. I don't recall the manufacturer. I long ago replaced it with a 320 GB WD.

Mine came with a 160 GB Seagate 5400rpm drive.
It was most likely a Seagate Momentus 5400.3 8MB but I'm not 100% sure.
//edit: turns out my memory served me wrong, I found the old original drive in a drawer here.
It came with a Hitachi Travelstar 5K160 160GB 5400rpm Model HTS541616J9SA00 (Apple p/n 0A51718)
You should definitely get something else though, 320 GB drives are relatively cheap (~$90) and a lot faster.

Yeah, it's being replaced by the new Air, so for resale, maybe (as close as possible to) the OEM drive is a better sale point? dunno.
I thought I got the 7200rpm; was there that option at the time?
And thanks.
