I upgraded to iTunes 8.0.2 and now I can't burn Audio CD's from an iTunes downloaded album WTF?

I tried different brand CDs, repaired permissions, deleted preferences but nothing works. I can burn cds in Toast audio, video etc but iTunes doesn't burn.

any ideas?

Does it burn under a different user account?

Also try downloading the full iTunes installer file and reinstalling it that way.

So this turned out to be a hardware settings issue? Interesting... But I don't see anything about either iTunes or optical drives in the knowledgebase article.

Yes, but the OP said zapping his PRAM fixed his problem.

That one talks about resetting the DVD region if they have a DVD player. Perhaps something along those lines?

It appears that there's a ton of data in PRAM. I'll just be satisfied that zapping it can help a lot of problems. Thanks.
