Color picker question

In Color panel, when you sample a color to create a swatch, there is a little grey triangle in the top right corner. What does this mean?

I see no grey triangle. what program are you using when you do this, or is it constant in the system?

Maybe it indicates just that. That it's a sampled colour.

I have no idea why that would matter but I think you might be right. If I sample a color that is already a reset, the sample still has the triangle. If I click the choose the preset color again, the triangle vanishes. If I drag the preset color down to the matrix of user's colors, it has no triangle. If I sample it, and drag it to the user colors, it does. I wonder why they did this.

It happens in the Apple system-wide color picker when you sample a color with the magnifying glass.
