Since today Camino and Firefox don`t start anymore in one user account.
Camino alerts that it can`t find the profiles folder.
It`s still a fresh install of OS X and I haven`t been fiddling with the installation.

Why is this happening and how can it be repaired?

Both browsers still work under another user account (the administrator account).

OK, looks like I had the right idea although I am not sure what I should think about the solution:

I have installed the browsers (Camino and Firefox) while I was in the Administrator account and manually created subfolders to put them in:
Applications/Internet/Browsers/Camino
Applications/Internet/Browsers/Firefox

So what I did is I manually allowed the Applications/Internet -directory to be shared (from the information panel of that directory).
It was not protected before I did this. Well, now I can start the apps in the other account (that does not have administrative rights).

Do i have to expect any problems with the way I arranged the programs (in manually created subfolders) and sharing?

I would suggest you to remove the Camino & Firefox's profile in /Users/username/Library/Application Support/. Then, delete and reinstall both browsers inside your standard user account. As long as you provide your administrator account information, you should be able to install directly using your standard user account. Wish you good luck.
